HGGS Academic Programme
The HGGS interdisciplinary programme combines a series of compact masterclasses and tailor-made workshops with annual conferences and schools. During the academic year, the HGGS also invites guest lecturers from Germany and abroad and supports doctoral students in their networking with academics.
In order to open up the entire spectrum of interdisciplinary teaching and research at Heidelberg University, the HGGS also offers all interested doctoral students the opportunity to take part in special courses organised by the six HGGS faculties. Upon completion of their doctorate, doctoral candidates receive the HGGS certificate and a certificate attesting to this unique doctoral experience at Heidelberg University.
