HGGS Guest Member Lars Link

Lars Link is a doctoral candidate and research associate at the Institute for Physiology and Pathophysiology at the Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University. He is part of the interdisciplinary research project FrameIntell, which examines the linguistic framing of artificial and biological intelligence, focusing on implicit concepts of cognition and their ethical consequences. His research focuses on the concepts of biological intelligence within neuroscience and investigates possible commonalities, distinctions and interactions with the constructs of artificial intelligence.

Lars holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Psychology from the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg, a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Psychology from SRH University Heidelberg and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Audio Production from Middlesex University London. His academic focus includes cognitive, clinical, industrial/organizational (I/O) and educational psychology.

Additionally, Lars is undergoing advanced training to become a psychological psychotherapist specializing in systemic therapy at the Heidelberg Institute for Psychotherapy at the Center for Psychosocial Medicine of the University Hospital Heidelberg.

He is a member of the Interdisciplinary Center for Neuroscience (IZN), the Heidelberg Graduate School for Humanities and Social Sciences (HGGS), and the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Cognitive Science (CAS) and has given talks at the Marsilius Summer Academy "AT THE LIMITS OF LIFE", the Cognitive Science Junior Research Group, and the Early Career Researchers (ECR) in Neurophysiology.
