An anthropologist with 20 years of experience in the field of health and environment in South Asia. Conducting research on human-animal conflict in the Indian Sundarbans and Western Ghats, analysing the role of development and conservation policies in producing these conflicts. Pursuing doctoral research after a successful career in the development sector spanning 12 years. Experienced equally in academic and policy research. Worked with leading global organizations such as Population Services International and USAIDS led projects as well as with government institutions and grassroots organisations in India.
